Brixen im Thale Ski Resort, Austria

Brixen im Thale ski resort is a 15-minute drive from the more famous ski resort of Kitzbuhel and is one of 9 ski resort villages in this northeastern part of the state of Tyrol.

Part of the Wilder Kaiser-Brixen Valley, which is the largest connected skiing area in Austria, in Brixen ski resort there is 35km of mostly beginner and intermediate ski runs. There is also an extensive network of cross-country skiing tracks and, if the local skiing isn't enough for you, there is access to the ski runs in Kirchberg, Kitzbuhel and Westendorf via a connected lift system.

With 58% of the ski runs for beginners and 33% for intermediates Brixen im Thale ski resort is ideal for new skiers, improvers and especially for families. Only 9% of the ski runs are for more advanced skiers, who might want to look elsewhere.
