Forstau ski resort is a small traditional Salzburgerland village ski resort that is really easy to get to by road - it's just ten minutes from a couple of main roads. It has great skiing for beginners and intermediates, but nothing for advanced skiers.
Forstau is a family friendly austrian village ski resort, situated on the boarder between Salzburg and Styria. For children, the Fageralm mountainn has the Indian Path, the Wikinger route and the wave course. And for the adults, in addition to great skiing, there is an ice rink, horse-sleigh riding, 30km of cleared winter hiking routes, cross-country skiing, snowshoe walking plus weekly hut parties.
