Gruenau ski resort (also spelt Grünau im Almtal) is a traditional Austrian mountain village resort set around a lovely old church.
The skiing at Gruenau ski resort is reached by quad chair from a parking area outside the village, but it is possible to ski back to the village direct. There are long trails, some as long as 10km, and lower ski runs have snow-making.
This child friendly resort that caters for skiers of all ages. For the children there is a child runway, funpark and even a child elevator. There are activites for skiiers too, and snowboarders can enjoy the Funpark.
